Directions

The lodge is isolated by sea. There is no direct road access.

By Bus

Traveling from Panama City

Take a bus from Panama City at Albrook Bus Terminal to Santiago de Veraguas. Then take another bus ride from Santiago to Sona. You can also take a direct bus from Albrook to Sona (approx. 4-5 hours). Then, catch a bus from Sona to San Lorenzo/Playa Banco (approx. 1.5 hours).

Traveling from Costa Rica/David/Boquete/Bocas del Toro

Buses from Costa Rica, Boquete and Bocas del Toro stop at David central bus terminal. Catch a bus from David to Santiago de Veraguas (approx. 4-5 hours). Then change bus terminals – to Avenida Decima (walk or take a five minute taxi ride) and catch a bus to Sona. Catch a bus from Sona to San Lorenzo/Playa Banco (approx. 1.5 hours).

By Car

Traveling from Panama City

Take the main highway, the Pan-American highway, direction to Santiago. On arrival, take a left just after Cochez Hardware store. Keeping going straight till you reach the cathedral. Take a right behind the cathedral, and then a left at The ‘LA PRENSA’ painted wall. Keep driving this road for at least 45min, just about before Sona, take a left turning by the Delta Gasoline Station. Another 45minutes drive, and you come to a road crossing. Take a right in the direction of El Tigre/San Lorenzo. DO NOT TAKE THE TURN TO SANTA CATALINA. Take a left at another crossing taking you to Playa Banco/Arrimadero. Park your car at the mini restaurant or at the parking area next to the dock.

At the dock, a small boat, a ‘panga’, would take you to the Lodge (3mins).

Traveling from Costa Rica/David/Boquete/Bocas del Toro

Take the main highway, the Pan-American highway, direction to Santiago. Take a right turning at an intersection of Guabala (just alter an immigration check point) (1.0 hrs). Keep driving until you reach Sona. (1.30hrs). Keep driving through Sona, and as you get out of town take a right turning by the Delta Gasoline Station. Another 45minutes drive, and you come to a road crossing. Take a right in the direction of El Tigre/San Lorenzo. DO NOT TAKE THE TURN TO SANTA CATALINA. Take a left at another crossing taking you to Playa Banco/Arrimadero. Park your car at the mini restaurant or at the parking area next to the dock.
